Carotenoids are well known for their nutritional benefits. First as a strong color enhancer but also as a powerful antioxidant and nutriment involved in various major physiological functions such as reproduction, vision, skin protection… You will find a new paper published in Aquaculture Research, confirming the benefits of the natural pigment Panaferd-AX. This study reveals the properties of natural carotenoids for shrimps in 2 challenges for shrimp farmers: nice color and healthy animals. ANS has participated to this study conducted at Songkhla University in Thailand.
